This Privacy Policy explains how The Plant Food Academy ("The Plant Food Academy," "we," "us" or "our"), operated by Jon-Michael Monday, collects, uses and protects your information when you visit www.thatplantfoodguy.com (the "Site"), buy our products, apply for coaching, or join our community. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, such as:
If the business is transferred to a company we own (such as a future LLC), or is sold or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain protected by this policy.
Our platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or relationship with us, and afterward as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Coaching health information is kept only as long as needed to coach you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
We use reputable, secure platforms and limit access to your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site and our products are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and The Plant Food Academy ("The Plant Food Academy," "we," "us" or "our"), operated by Jon-Michael Monday. They apply to your use of www.thatplantfoodguy.com (the "Site") and to all of our products and services, including The Plant Food Protocol course, The Bloodwork Blueprint, 1:1 coaching, the private community and any free content (together, the "Services"). By using the Site or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy or use the Services.
The Services are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no doctor-patient relationship is created. Always talk to your doctor before changing your diet, exercise or medications, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication for cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure. Please read our full Health & Results Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.
All sales are final. Please read our Refund Policy before you buy.
"Lifetime access" to the course and The Plant Food Academy private community means access for as long as The Plant Food Academy continues to offer them. It refers to the life of the program, not the life of the purchaser. The private community is hosted on a third-party platform (currently Facebook), and we may modify, relocate, suspend or discontinue the course, the community, or access to either at any time and for any reason. We do not guarantee that any content, platform or community will remain available indefinitely.
When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it for your own personal use. You may not share your login, copy, record, resell, redistribute, publicly post or create derivative products from any of our content, including videos, PDFs, handbooks and community posts. We may terminate access without refund if these rules are broken.
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, self-promotion or sharing of course content outside the group. Do not give medical advice to other members. We may remove anyone from the community, without refund, for breaking these rules.
All content on the Site and in the Services, including text, videos, images, graphics, logos, the names "The Plant Food Academy," "The Plant Food Protocol," "The Bloodwork Blueprint" and "@thatplantfoodguy," is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. See our Copyright Notice.
If you post comments, testimonials, photos or results, you keep ownership, but you give us permission to use, display and share them (including on social media and the Site) to promote the Services. We will not share your health information or bloodwork publicly without your permission.
The Services rely on third-party platforms such as systeme.io, Stripe and Facebook. We are not responsible for their availability, policies or actions.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific health, fitness, weight loss or bloodwork results.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Plant Food Academy and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any personal injury or health outcome, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to defend and hold harmless The Plant Food Academy and its owner from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at hello@thatplantfoodguy.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
We may transfer these Terms, and all of our rights and obligations under them, to any business entity we own or create (such as a future limited liability company) or to a successor, without notice to you. You may not transfer your rights or access to anyone else.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Services after changes means you accept them.

All content from The Plant Food Academy and @thatplantfoodguy, including the Site, courses, PDFs, coaching, community posts, emails and social media, is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or another qualified health professional.
Jon-Michael Monday is not a licensed physician or registered dietitian. Nothing we share creates a doctor-patient or dietitian-client relationship.
Always consult your doctor before making changes to your diet, exercise, supplements or medications. This is especially important if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication for cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure or blood thinning, since your doses may need adjusting as your numbers change. Bloodwork numbers, photos and results shared by Jon-Michael reflect his personal experience. Lab values may come from different tests and dates. Any rankings or comparisons generated by AI tools are estimates for illustration only, not scientific findings.
Results depend on many factors, including genetics, health history, starting point, consistency and effort. Testimonials and examples are not typical and are not a guarantee or promise that you will achieve the same or similar results.
We do our best to share accurate, evidence-based information and cite sources where possible. Nutrition science changes over time, and we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
By using our content and Services, you accept full responsibility for your health decisions and agree that The Plant Food Academy and its owner are not liable for any outcome resulting from them.
Some links we share may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we use or believe in.
Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, or involve reserving personal time with a coach, all sales are final and non-refundable. This applies to:
Coaching fees are non-refundable once your program has started. If you cancel before your first coaching session, contact us and we will refund your payment. After the program starts, you remain responsible for all remaining installments on a payment plan.
Choosing a payment plan is a commitment to pay the full price. Stopping or failing a payment does not cancel the remaining balance, and access may be paused until your account is current.
If you were charged twice or charged by mistake, email hello@thatplantfoodguy.com within 14 days and we will fix it.
